Baby Update

No fun pictures to post today, but I thought I could at least include a quick baby update. I'm now at 30 weeks (only 10 more to go!) and I had another doctor's appointment this morning. Baby Girl is doing great and is estimated to weigh between 2.5 and 3 pounds at this point. She will gain about a quarter to a half pound every week from now on--and I thought I was big already! (I won't mention how much I'm weighing at this point!)

Gary and I have our first baby class tonight, called "Baby Care Basics." It's a two hour class on taking care of a newborn. Next week we start our Prepared Childbirth classes, which will be once a week for four weeks. We also have a tour of the hospital birthing facilities next week, and we are enrolled in a Breastfeeding Class--Gary turns red when I even mention that one!

Overall, I am just getting more anxious for her arrival every day. We still have a lot to do to prepare for her, so I'm glad we have some more time. But I can't wait to meet her and spend the rest of my life loving her!
