Lauren is one month old as of yesterday and she had her second pediatrician appointment. She is now a whopping 11 pounds and 23 inches long! That places her at the 90th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for height. No wonder it feels like I'm feeding her all day long. Our doctor said she is thriving, so we are thrilled to have a healthy baby girl. He also said that the first month is the most difficult, so we're very glad to be at the end of it. Congratulations to Jake and Sharon, too, whose little boy will be one month old on the 26th. We made it!
I also want to say a huge congratulations to Cheri and Gabe Barber, who introduced Andrew Jonathan Barber into the world on Wednesday. Speaking of topping the charts--he weighed in at 9 pounds 3 ounces! Less than 2 pounds to go to catch up with Lauren! Many prayers and blessings to the new Barber family.
