Road Trip

We took our first trip with Lauren this weekend to see some friends up in San Jose. We visited with three other couples, all friends from Cal Poly. There were 4 kids there, all age two or under, and 2 more babies on the way. What a madhouse! Lauren did fairly well, although I think she was definitely overwhelmed. It was a lot different than the quiet house she has become accustomed to. It was so much fun to see our friends and Lauren's future friends, though. Definitely worth the drive. Lauren slept fairly well considering she was away from her bed, and she did great in the car. The picture above is of Lauren with her daddy and baby Bryce with his daddy, Jeff. Bryce is just a couple of months older than Lauren. We took a few other pictures with the other kids, but they all seemed to come out blurry. It's tough to get a good shot of busy 2-year-old boys!
