Quick update from Lauren's pediatrician appointment yesterday: She is weighing in at 15 pounds, 11 ounces, and measuring 27 inches long--although I think that's a bit exaggerated, and she's actually closer to 26 inches. Either way, she's a tall girl! The doctor said she is very healthy and a beautiful baby (of course!). She has started teething, which explains all of the drool, the pink cheeks, and some of the fussiness. She is also ready to start solid foods! In his words, "I think she would enjoy having something to eat!" We will find out this weekend when we try out her highchair for the first time and give her some rice cereal.
