Home Alone

Gary is out of town this weekend at a film festival in Los Angeles. He made a short film that was selected to be shown during the festival. Congratulations, honey!

That means Lauren and I are home alone for three days, and I have already learned that it's tough being a "single mom." Lauren has been pretty good so far, but it is just difficult being the only person responsible for a baby 24 hours a day. Thankfully the weather has been beautiful today, so we spent some time in the front yard. Lauren played in her exersaucer and then took a nap in her stroller while I did some desperately-needed yard work. I'm hoping this summer I can actually get some work done in the backyard, too, which has been neglected since about October of last year. I'll have to take some before and after pictures to share with all of you.

Speaking of pictures, here is Lauren enjoying the day in her exersaucer......and hanging out in her stroller. She has a bottom tooth that has just started to pop through, and she keeps feeling it with her tongue.And finally, at the end of a long day, I needed some entertainment. Thankfully, Lauren's hair is just long enough for the "bathtub mohawk." Enjoy! :)
