Yummy!

Aunt Toni gave Lauren some organic baby food and she's loving it. So far she has had apples, bananas, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, and pears. Lauren always makes a face when she tries something new, but then she gobbles it right up. She likes to "help out" when I'm feeding her, and she grabs the spoon and pulls it toward her mouth. She is also doing much better with her highchair. She really didn't like it at first, mainly because it has a very straight back and I think she was uncomfortable. But now that she's getting better at sitting, she doesn't seem to mind it as much anymore. Mmmmmmmm!

Updated on 6/7/06 to add: It's official--Lauren's favorite food so far is bananas. It's the first thing she has eaten without being mixed with rice cereal or oatmeal, and she couldn't get enough of it today. Every time I tried to stop feeding her, she would lean forward with her mouth wide open and give me the cutest look. She ate about twice as much as usual!
