Visitors

We've had lots of fun visitors lately. Last week, Gary's parents came to visit for the 4th of July and to spend time with their precious granddaughter.Then, on Thursday, our good friends Jenny and Jason Jones stopped by on their way through town to introduce us to baby Davis. (He is only 7 weeks old and just adorable!)And finally, my parents were here over the weekend, and my mom is staying the week to help out while Gary's out of town on a business trip. (I never seem to remember to take pictures of my parents with Lauren. I'll have to work on that!)

Lauren is doing well, although she is so frustrated that she can't figure out a better way to move around. She doesn't seem to have any interest in crawling, but would rather stand. We even took a couple of "walks" around the living room this evening, as she is figuring out how to put one foot in front of the other and seems to like this method of mobility. :) She has also discovered that she can get places by rolling. I can no longer put her down and expect her to stay in one spot. This has led to a few bumps and bruises, as she rolls into the furniture, but I think she likes getting places. Now she just wants a faster way to move!
