Doing the Wave

This past week, Lauren has been working on waving. Sometimes she will do the typical baby wave, in which she stretches out her arm and open and closes her hand towards herself. Or, she has a unique Lauren-wave, which looks somewhat similar to a Vanna White hand flare. Either way, it's pretty cute!

She is also so close to crawling. I know I've been saying that for a few weeks, but it actually surprises me that she hasn't crawled yet considering how close she gets. She can get up on all fours on her own and she rocks back and forth a lot. She even puts out one arm and one leg, but then slides back down on her tummy. I'm really excited for her to reach this next milestone, yet I'm really enjoying her immobility! She has found other ways to move around, including rolling and "inchworming" (when she pushes with her feet and slides around on her face--ouch!), but she is slow moving for now. I don't think that will last much longer, so I'm appreciating it while I can!
