Now that Lauren is understanding so much more and putting more words together, we have some interesting conversations around here. These are a few of my favorites from the last few days:
Yesterday, when we were getting ready to go shopping...
Mommy: "Are you ready to go?"
Lauren: "Yep."
M: "Good. Me, too."
L: "I'm ready, too, Mommy."
M: "That's good, Lauren."
L: "Are you?"
M: "Yes, Lauren."
L: "Me, too, Mommy."
...and on... and on... You get the idea. ;)

Lauren's been doing a good job using her potty lately, so Daddy gave her a present: "Elmo's Potty Time" DVD. After she watched it today...
Mommy: "Do you need to use the potty?"
Lauren: "No. Elmo does."

Lauren: "Mommy!"
Mommy: "What's your name?"
Lauren: "YOU!!!!"

Ha...the potty conversation fits in well with what Connor's teacher was saying in Mommy and Me class today. Apparently, when kids are singing their ABCs, and they get to the L, M, N, O, P section, they think it says Elmo Pee...sounds like Lauren would agree!
