Here are a lot of pictures and a few words to summarize our Easter celebrations...
We started with dying eggs at our house the week before Easter. This was the first year that Lauren actually had a real interest in egg-dying and could help out. She especially loved putting the stickers on the eggs because, of course, they were princess stickers!
We left for our vacation on the Saturday before Easter, which meant we woke up in San Diego on Easter morning. Thankfully, the Easter bunny knew where to find us and left this Easter basket in our hotel room for Lauren.
After opening the goodies, we got dressed in our Easter best and headed to the Hotel del Coronado for their Easter celebration with Grandma and Grandpa Lillo, Aunt Kate, Uncle Ryan, and Cousin Connor. They had an egg hunt for the kids, which mostly consisted of picking up the eggs scattered on the lawn. They also had a fabulous brunch, where we all stuffed ourselves completely with delicious food. And finally, Lauren's favorite part: meeting the Easter bunny!

On the last day of our vacation, we had an Easter celebration at Great Grandma and Grandpa's house in Torrance. The Easter bunny left another gift for Lauren--a cherished pink Care Bear. We had more delicious food and another egg hunt. Lauren is going to think the Easter bunny leaves her gifts everywhere she goes! She's a blessed little girl, and we all had a wonderful time celebrating together.
