How Sad Is This...

Lauren's asthma has been acting up lately, so we've had to use her inhaler a lot. (I think it's related to allergies this time of year.) I came in her room this morning and found her using her inhaler on her dolls. She kept telling them, "Good job!" and, "It's okay." How sad that she has learned that this is what moms do for their kids! Thankfully, she also likes to sing to them, read to them, feed them, and put them to bed.

Speaking of bed, Lauren learned about 2 weeks ago that she can climb in and out of her crib. Looks like we'll be moving to a "big girl bed" this weekend!

Next week is my last week of school and then I'm done for the summer--yay!! My two main goals for the next few months are to:
1) Thoroughly clean out and clean up our house. (That nesting instinct is already settling in!)
2) Spend lots of fun time with Lauren. This is our last summer together with just the two of us, and I hope we both enjoy it. I'd like to take her fun places and do some great activities with her at home. Any ideas?

That is REALLY sad! What a sweetie, though.
Those sound like great summer plans. I'd suggest anything away from home and active. (things that will be tough in october.) Andrew and I used to go on fun little "hikes" early in the morning and go exploring as long as we wanted to. he and i could also go to disneyland just the two of us. i miss having all of that 1-on-1 time with him. the other thing is traveling... obviously much more difficult now.

lol ... I guess you can disregard my question from email about school :).
aww ... sweet Lauren. that is sad but precious at the same time!
Aidan & I did a lot of activites that I knew would be more of a challenge with a baby like hangin' out at the park as long as he wanted to or chillin' at the beach - bringing along as many sand toys as he wanted :).
