Believe it or not, that's what my darling daughter said to me as she left her first dentist appointment this morning. My dentist is right next door to hers, so I arranged our appointments so that she could watch me get my teeth cleaned first and then (hopefully) be ready for her first cleaning. It went even better than I had hoped! She watched very patiently during my turn, and was then actually excited to go have her turn. She loved the pediatric dentist's office, thanks to all the toys and TVs. She proudly showed her teeth to the dentist, and then giggled during the cleaning because she said it tickled. :) After getting her bag of goodies and picking out her free toy, she actually said, "The dentist is fun!" on our way out. I think she's even looking forward to the next time we go. Amazing!
(Sorry there are no pictures of the event--I just didn't think to bring a camera to the dentist!)
