Although Jonathan is quickly approaching the 5-month mark, we just had his 4-month check-up today. He is weighing in at 17 pounds (85%) and measuring 28.5 inches (off the charts). He still eats ALL the time, so it's not really a surprise that he's so big! He loves to roll over, play with his toys (he's much more accurate at grabbing things now), shove things in his mouth, squeal at the top of his lungs, and give great big baby smiles and laughs. His morning nap is fairly consistent now, and lasting 2-3 hours (yay!). His afternoons still vary, but generally he'll have one longer nap or two shorter naps. And last night he slept 9.5 HOURS STRAIGHT. Praise the Lord! (The only downside is that he slept from 8pm to 5:30am, and then was ready to start the day at 5:30 and wouldn't go back to sleep.) Our pediatrician said we can try starting him on rice cereal, so that may be his Valentine surprise on Saturday. Overall, he is becoming a sweet boy, who is either very happy or very mad--with not much in between! It has been quite a journey getting to know him, and I know there is much more ahead.I hope to be back on Friday with some exciting news to share... :)

OOH, exciting news. We can't wait. "Little" Jonathan is looking so adorable and cute, especially knowing that he's capable of sleeping for 9.5 hours. That's great news.
Oh my... Hayden wasn't this long at this 9 months check up. He's going to be a tall one!

Jonathan and Evan are pretty much the exact same size. You will see his recent stats real soon. I am working on updating the blog. Stay tuned. Can't wait to get them together. Hopefully this can happen soon. We love this little guy!
So, Reece had her 1 year appointment this week. Guess what her height is? The exact same as Jonathan, 28.5"! Isn't that too funny?
