Pretty much every day, Lauren says things that are sweet, amusing, and uniquely Lauren. (I'm sure every mom with a 3-year-old can relate to this!) They are often forgotten within moments, but I try to write them down when I can. I know someday I will look back on these with very fond memories. Here are a couple of the latest:
Lauren: "Mommy, on Jon's birthday he will start speaking Spanish."
Mommy: "Really. And when will you start speaking Spanish?"
L: (with incredulous look on her face) "Silly, I already DO speak Spanish!"
M: "You do?"
L: "Dos, tres, cuatro, cinco. See?"

Lauren's announcement this morning:
"Mommy, my heart says No Boys Allowed."
I'm sure Daddy will be thrilled to hear that, Lauren.
