Bowling!

We took the kids bowling on Saturday morning. Lauren has played bowling video games a few times and Jonathan loves balls, so we were hoping for a successful family outing--and it mostly was. Lauren had a great time and Jonathan warmed up about 45 minutes into our hour-long game. :)

Lauren's technique involved kneeling down in front of the lane and pushing the ball along the floor. The ball rolled about 2 miles an hour, but she hit quite a few pins!Gary's technique was a little more advanced.Lauren and Daddy liked to celebrate their victories. :)We finally got Jonathan to participate by having three of us push the ball at one time. I like to think of it as group bowling.I even got him to smile, right before it was time to go. ;)Final Scores:Things to note: I'm fairly proud of my score considering I bowled the first few frames while holding Jonathan, so he wouldn't cry. "Jon" came in third, although Gary and Lauren actually took turns bowling for him. And Gary continues to be the bowling champion of our little household. Already looking forward to a rematch!
