Superstar!

 

Our sweet Lauren was Superstar of the month at her school! Daddy and I got to go to a special assembly today, where two kids from each kindergarten class were recognized for being "Superstars." Lauren's teacher selected her and wrote on her certificate: "Lauren is kind to her friends and always tries to do her best. Her smile brightens everyone's day. She is a pleasure to have in room three." The picture below is the principal presenting the certificate to our girl.

 

Also, a couple of weeks ago, Lauren was chosen "Star of the Week" in her classroom. Each child gets to take a turn on this one, and when you are the "star" you get your picture up on the bulletin board. All of the other kids say what they like best about you and draw a picture of you. Here's Lauren in front of her star.

 

I'm so thankful Lauren has a great school to go to, and a wonderful teacher. She's off to a fabulous start! :)
