Gary took the last week and a half off of work, mostly for our beach vacation, but we had a few extra days to "play." We made a day trip up to Monterey to visit the aquarium. With the exception of the occasional whine and about five long minutes during which we completely lost Jon, we all had a good time.

We ended the day with dinner at Bubba Gump's...
...and a trolley ride back to the car.
It feels good to be able to do more things with the kids, and to know it will get (at least a little) easier over the next few years. So many good memories yet to be made. :)
