My Little Kicker

We had a great holiday weekend. Sunday marked 20 weeks of pregnancy--the halfway point! Yay! And this little one sure is kicking now. We had a fun 4th of July with Todd and Holly and friends (thanks, Petersons!) and went to Morro Bay to watch the fireworks. I am positive this baby can hear now because it kicked the most I have ever felt during the fireworks show! Gary got to feel it, too. It's so amazing that there is a little person moving around in there.

Most of the rest of our weekend was spent getting the house ready for a new baby. We are trying to clean out the second bedroom to make way for the little Weyel, and we are realizing that we have collected a lot of stuff over the last three and a half years in our house. But we made some improvements and now we just have a ton of stuff to get rid of. After that, we need to start getting some baby things to fill up the room again! :) Hopefully we will register after the ultrasound on the 18th, and then we will know if we need boy or girl baby things.

Speaking of ultrasounds, our prayers are with the Martas who have their ultrasound tomorrow! Sharon Marta is due within a few days of me, and we can't wait to hear the results. Good luck Jake, Sharon, and baby Marta!
