Celebrate Good Times!

Last Saturday, September 17th, was our baby shower in L.A. and as you can see, it was wonderful! My mom and sister worked long and hard to make sure every detail was perfect. The party was held in downtown Los Angeles, and the room was transformed into a pink baby heaven. They thought of everything, including delicious food, adorable party favors, a tasty cake, beautiful decorations (which will now decorate our baby's room), and many of our friends and family to celebrate with us. We were overwhelmingly blessed with gifts and good wishes, and we want to thank everyone who was able to attend and celebrate with us!

We had so many fun pictures from the day that it was tough to narrow it down! The first picture is with my mom and sister and the cutie-pie cake they had for us. Jim and Kim Knight (in the next photo) were some of the first to arrive, and are pointing at the guest of honor. :) The quilt you can see hanging behind me and Gary was made by my mom and will hang in the baby's room over the crib. And last, I wasn't the only pregnant woman at the party! Sharon Marta (due 11/23/05) and Cheri Barber (due 12/24/05) showed off their pregnant bellies with me. We couldn't have asked for a better celebration!!
