Here's a quick review of what Lauren has been up to in the past few days. On Friday, I took her to the park for the first time. She enjoyed it, but I think it will be much better when she gets older and can play on more of the equipment.
On Saturday, I tried putting a barrette in her hair for the first time, to keep the hair out of her eyes. You can see how popular that idea was.
Saturday was also a day of shopping. We found a new vacuum on clearance at the Home Depot--a must have now that Lauren is constantly moving around on the floor. She appreciated the box.
We also got a baby gate, so Nacho can stay on one side and Lauren on the other--not to mention now she can't fall down the stairs.
Finally, here is Lauren all dressed up for church today.
This was an exciting morning: Lauren stayed in the nursery at church for the first time! I think this was much harder on Mommy than on Lauren. We were told she did well, and after a bottle she enjoyed playing with all the different toys, especially the books. Mommy, on the other hand, only lasted about 3 minutes before needing to go back and check on her. Lauren also took a special liking to one of the little boys in the nursery. Watch out, Daddy!
