If Lauren looks like she doesn't feel well in this picture, that would be because she's been sick for a week. She came down with a cold last Monday and it is still hanging on today. Gary and I are fighting it off, too, so it hasn't been the best week in the Weyel household.
In spite of the illness, we tried to have a little fun this weekend and took Lauren to the pumpkin patch near our house. It's amazing to think back to a year ago when we visited this same place, and remember everything that has happened since then. Lauren was fascinated by all of the people and different things there. Since she was so distracted and wasn't feeling well, it made it tough to get many good pictures. But we still tried to enjoy the experience and brought home a couple of pumpkins to carve for Halloween. You can see more pictures from our visit at "Lauren's photos."
