As a way of catching up on some of the things we've done over the last couple of months, here are a few of my favorite daddy-daughter moments caught on film. The one above is from our trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo on New Year's Day. Lauren had a great time looking at all of the animals until she came face-to-face with a sheep in the feeding zoo. Then she was done.
The next one is from a picnic we had at a local park on a beautiful January day. They have a skate park there, and Lauren loves to watch the skaters. (Thankfully, she can't understand all of the words they use!) This was also her first time eating a hot dog.
Here is what happens when Daddy dresses Lauren for the day--they end up matching! Lauren was wearing her LAFD shirt, and Gary was wearing his LAPD shirt. Very cute.
Last, I had to take a quick picture of one of our favorite things to do with Lauren: read a book. So simple, but so fun.
