We're almost to the middle of June and I haven't finished catching up on May yet! So here goes:
We had a Memorial Day BBQ with my parents on Sunday, May 27th. Lauren watched anxiously out the front window for "Gabga" and "Papa" to arrive.
This is a blurry picture from our mini-celebration, but it's an action shot of Lauren playing "round and round" with Daddy. She loves it when he spins her until she's so dizzy that she falls down. Crazy kid.
We did our best to be patriotic in spite of the gloomy weather.
Lauren even got some special cuddle time with Grandma and Grandpa before bedtime.
On Memorial Day, since Gary had the day off, we had a picnic at the Avila Valley Barn. Lauren is still not too sure about the animals there...
...but she'll look at them from the safety of Daddy's arms.
We all enjoyed the picnic lunch...
...and Lauren had fun climbing on the hay bales. Look at that concentration!
That's it for now. Next time around I'll have Lauren tell you about all the fun we've been having in June. The girl loves to talk!
