Lauren is going to be a big sister!!! Some of you have known this for a while, and for others it is a fun surprise. I am 12 weeks pregnant, due on October 1st. We wanted to wait until we knew everything was going well before we announced it to the world. On Wednesday, I had an ultrasound and we saw our adorable and healthy baby for the first time. It was such a joy to see that little profile and hear a strong heartbeat at 164 bpm. The first trimester has been a little rough, with lots of nausea and exhaustion. But I've definitely felt better in the last week and now I am starving almost ALL the time. (Bring on the donuts!) We are thrilled and so excited to become a family of four. Lauren knows she is going to be a big sister and will tell people that--although we know she doesn't fully comprehend what that means! But she loves babies and helping Mommy, so we're hopeful that she will make the transition well. I'm looking forward to this summer, and having lots of special time with my little girl. And then we'll have another fall birthday and experience a whole different stage of life. Thank you, God, for this incredible blessing!

That is AWESOME! I am so happy for your guys! I love that we get to be pregnant together! Yippee!!! Are you going to find out the gender? By the way we are going to be in your neck of the woods the last weekend in April. I will give you more details as they develop. Hope we can see you then.
