Today was Lauren's first last day of school. :) They had a shortened day, and then we celebrated with a McDonald's Happy Meal. (They accidently gave us chocolate milk instead of regular, which was Lauren's first taste of this beverage. She said, "Mmmmm, yummy!")
I didn't really emphasize to her that it's her last day, mainly because she only has a week off and then she goes back for summer school two mornings a week. She won't actually switch classrooms until the fall. But it was still a special day and worthy of celebration! By the way, here is a picture of her all ready for school this morning...
...and here is a picture of her on her first day of school, just seven months ago. I can't believe how much she has changed in such a short time! Stop growing up so fast!
