This is what the new fireplace is for...

We made the big move on Saturday, the 21st, and are now in the process of settling into our new home. If you ever think it might be a good idea to take care of two small children, work part-time, buy a house, sell a house, and move all at the same time--well, it's not. But we survived it and we are so thankful to be SLO residents once again! We said goodbye to our sweet little home in Los Osos...
and made the 20 minute trip to the new house...
Thanks to our wonderful friends and family, we had almost everything out of the old house and into the new house by 2:30pm on moving day. (You guys are awesome! Thank you!!) Grandma Weyel even stayed with us for five nights, helping us get so much done and watching the kids.
I haven't taken any pictures of the new house yet, but I will soon as we get everything in place. It's wonderful to have a room for Jonathan and a backyard. Lauren tells me every day, "Mommy, I love our new house." Most of our waking moments are spent taking care of kids or unpacking boxes, which doesn't leave a lot of time for blog updates. But I hope to post Jonathan's 6-month stats soon, and tell you more about our home. It's mostly still a mess, but feel free to come by for a visit! We'd love to show you around! :)

The squealing giggles bursting from Jonathan's mouth are the best.

wow, he is quite a squeeler! That is so cute. Reminds me of when Lauren was his age, they sound similar.
