Enjoying the Summer

We've been busy around here lately, but in a good way. For a while there, all of our "busyness" revolved around working, moving, and caring for some high-maintenance kids. Now, we've settled into a much more pleasant state of "busy." While we're still doing plenty of childcare, everything just seems to be at a more manageable pace. I'm thoroughly enjoying my break from teaching and my summer as a stay-at-home mom (which may become a full-time gig if the state doesn't get their issues figured out soon). We've done a few quick trips to visit family and friends, Lauren is taking ballet class and swim class, we started our mini garden, we've worked on more house projects, we've had a few bbq's, and just adjusted to a new - very pleasant - life in SLO. I've taken pictures of most of these things and hope to share more of them in the next few weeks. For now, here's a quick video of Jon's latest discovery: he can clap! :) You'll also see him crawling at full speed. Our little boy is in constant motion, and currently trying to stand on his own. He is getting to that fun interactive stage and it is such a joy to watch...
