We made a weekend trip to Roseville to see some good friends, spend time with family, and join in a family reunion. It was a lot to squish into one weekend, but we were determined to make it work. And these two were so good in the car...
...that it was a lot easier to do those things than it used to be. Plus, I get this view from the passenger seat...
...which I always like to admire. :)
We saw our old friends, the Martas, for a quick lunch, which was relatively calm considering we are now outnumbered by our offspring.
We also saw one of my favorite families, the Barbers, in their new home--which feels more like a getaway to a cabin in the woods. Sadly, I didn't think to take a single picture while we were there. :(
Next was the Senter family reunion, which is Gary's grandmother's family. Highlights included dinner outside on a beautiful autumn day, taking pictures in the golden light, and dancing with Aunt Toni--while we admired the new engagement ring on her finger! Apparently we don't have enough Jonathans in the family yet, so she's going to add one more. :)
The trip was short and sweet (kind of like this blog post), but filled with good memories!
