Lauren and I had another playdate this morning with Abigail and her mom, Jenny. This time we went to their house. Abigail has two older brothers: Samuel (on the left), who just started first grade, and Caleb (on the right), who just turned four years old. Lauren loves playdates--mainly because she gets the chance to play with new toys, and because she is fascinated by other babies. This isn't a great picture of Lauren and Abigail, but the boys look cute.

This afternoon, Lauren and I baked a cake. Lauren helped by banging on some old pie plates with a rubber spatula. :)

She gets bored very easily with her toys, so I am always looking for household items that are safe for her to play with. Any suggestions?

tuperware!!! (i'm curious to see what other people suggest. :)
Floss, toothpicks, and toilet bowl scrubbers. Oh, you want safe. Tupperware, vaccuum cleaner attachments, plastic bins and lids, mouse pads and wrist rest pads. Big cardboard boxes are fun, too.
