Lauren and I created a fun, fall art project this morning. We started by collecting leaves in our yard, and then taping them under a piece of paper. I showed Lauren how to rub the paper with the side of a crayon and make the leaf "magically" appear. She got the hang of it pretty quickly, and we made some beautiful art for the refrigerator. This is one of the things I'm looking forward to as Lauren gets older: mother-daughter craft time! :)

we're waiting for the blog post that read, "Lauren wrote her first novel today..." Man! she is so advanced!
