We took a quick 36 hour trip this weekend to Dillon Beach on the Northern California coast. Unfortunately, 12 of those hours were spent in the car. Fortunately, Lauren was wonderful! She has never been a good traveler, but this time she was pretty close to perfect. She was patient, calm, quiet, and sweet for almost the whole ride. What an incredible blessing!
We met family at a beach house there and enjoyed a night with them. Lauren got to see her Grandma and Grandpa Weyel, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Senter, and Daddy's Uncle Tom and his wife, Sandy. It took her a little while to warm up, but she was giving them all hugs and kisses by the end of the trip. The weather was beautiful and we had a picturesque walk to the beach on Sunday morning. Overall, a successful weekend with lots of family memories. :)

Oh my gosh Gary I think we're related! Could it be true! My Grandparent's last name is Senter... Crazy. Seriously, we need to talk. It's an unusualy last name. I think you might be on my family tree.
wow, sounds like a beautiful weekend away! it was so great to see you girls this afternoon. sorry my boy was SO hyper with Lauren :) ... he was so excited to see his friend! it's a good thing she knows how to handle him. oh and THANK YOU for our dinner! it was so yummy :). and those cookies were also a hit! we gave Aidan one and he just devoured it :). thank you for serving the McCabes tonight! you guys are a huge blessing!!
