Our Week
Just wanted to share with you a couple of fun things from this past week. Lauren is at a great stage (in spite of the 2-year-old attitude) and we're really enjoying our little sweetie. We made cookies on Wednesday, and Lauren had a great time helping. She LOVES to be my assistant in the kitchen these days, and any time I'm making dinner she wants me to get out her chair so she can help. She likes to stir things, pour things, and squish things, and she loves washing her hands. We set her chair up by the sink, and she washes her hands about 15 times in the process of making one meal. :)
She has also become our little puzzle princess. She adores putting together puzzles, and has gotten very good at it. We have a couple of 25-piece puzzles that we got from the dollar store, and she can put them together all by herself in a matter of minutes! (We ignored the warning on the front that they are for "ages 3 and up." Guess our daughter is just brilliant!) :)
She also adores her buddy Aidan. The two friends got to play at the park this morning and had a blast. Lauren spent most of her time chasing him around, trying to keep up. But there was also a little hand-holding involved. :) They are so sweet together!

And finally, I just have to say, nothing makes you feel more like a fat, pregnant lady than when the desk chair breaks when you sit down on it. Guess I better back off on those donuts...

oh my gosh those pictures are so precious. She is such a pretty girl. That alone says she looks more like you than Gary, cause I've seen Gary in a dress and it's not pretty.
I'll have to try Isaac on those puzzles, he gets so bored with the easy ones.
she'll have to bring some puzzles over tomorrow night! that would be a fun thing for them to do together! Lauren can tell Aidan how to do it ;). lol ...
ok. I'm a little worried. my chair looks just like yours. and I'm not pregnant. I believe we have a problem here.
forgot to tell you ... Aidan took a 3 hour nap that afternoon! we'll have to do this more often :).
FAT! Ha! Carolyn fat... i can't imagine. :)
