We are having an adorable, healthy baby boy! Our ultrasound was this afternoon, and we were so excited to see this little guy. It was tough to get a good look at his face, as the umbilical cord was covering it most of the time. But we got a good look at everything else, and he's definitely a boy. :)
Lauren got to see him, although I'm not sure she could fully understand what she was looking at. I think she may be the only one who is disappointed that it's a boy, as she kept telling me she wanted a baby sister. And when I asked her what we should name her baby brother, she answered, "Baby sister!" I don't think he'd like that name... ;)
Everything looks very healthy, with 10 fingers, 10 toes, and all the right parts. He is a little big for his "age" but I'm guessing he's going to be a tall one, like his sister and parents. It was such a joy to see our little guy and to know everything is just fine. The only downside is now we have to wait almost five months before we get to see him again!
By the way, for those of you who already have baby boys... feel free to send any boy clothes our way! We have a ton of cute pink things, but no boy hand-me-downs yet. We need to start a new collection!

When we had our ultra sound done & it revealed Nathaniel was a boy ~ Isaac cried right there on the spot. He desperately wanted a little sister. It took three days before he even acknowledged that his brother was a boy. It went from her - to it & finally to him. He loves his baby brother. So it all works out but it is interesting watching their emotions in the process. Well on the bright side for Lauren she gets to remain the only princess. Congratulations ~ I love his first pic. ~Skye~
