Although Jonathan spends most of his life eating, sleeping, or fussing, Lauren still wants to help with him, hold him, and play with him all the time. This morning, she entertained him for a while so that Mommy and Daddy could eat breakfast. I just love seeing them together, and I know it will get even better as they interact more.Jonathan continues to thrive. We had a doctor's appointment on Monday, and he was already back up to his birth weight. (When the nurse picked him up, she said, "Oh my goodness! You gave birth to a one-month-old!" He is a big boy!) He's gotten a little more fussy over the last few days, but I expected that to happen as he is more awake during the day and increasingly aware of his surroundings. In spite of the sleepless nights, crying baby, and slow recovery, I know this is one of the best things I have ever done with my life. God is so good to us!

So beautiful! God gives us the desires of our heart, even if we don't know what to ask for!
