*He loves tummy time! Lauren hated it, so I'm still not use to the big smile he often gets when I lay him on his stomach.
*He gets bored very quickly. He's not the type of baby that will just sit there and watch the world go by. He wants people to interact with him often, and likes to be carried around all day, facing out, so that he can see everything.
*Sleeping is still a challenge. He takes 4-5 naps a day: usually one longer one (2+ hours) and the others are about 45 minutes. But he fights going to sleep, so I feel like I spend half my life rocking, swaying, "shushing," and cuddling, trying to get this little guy to fall asleep.
*Sleep at night is totally unpredictable. Some nights his longest stretch is only about 4 hours, other nights it is up to 7 hours. I keep trying to figure out what makes the difference, but I just don't know. Let's hope the 7 hour nights get more frequent.
*The boy loves to eat, which is obvious from his weight gain. However, he has gone from hardly spitting up at all to spitting up all the time and a lot. Yuck. I asked the doctor about it and he said, "Well, he eats a lot so he spits up a lot." I guess it makes sense but it doesn't help with the amount of laundry I'm doing these days!
*He drools a lot already--another thing that the doctor said he shouldn't be doing yet. I guess that means I should be proud, but it just adds to that laundry pile!
*He likes to "talk" with us and coos and gurgles often. He says, "I" a lot so I like to think he's saying hi to me. :)
*He is sometimes able to grab his toys that are dangled over him, and I can tell from his smile that he's very proud when he does it.
Okay, I suppose that's enough bragging for one day. What can I say, I'm a proud mommy! But who wouldn't be proud of this adorable boy...

I just found your blog in a roundabout sort of way...What an absolutely adorable little boy you've got there! And that's very impressive what the Dr. said about him. :) I also loved the previous post from your daughter's bday. That party looks like every little girl's dream!! And wow, that's a lot of sugar for one day, ha ha. Enjoy your beautiful family!
PS The word verification code is "flypie." Too funny.
