"Happy Niners Day!"

We're celebrating the start of the football season at our house today or, as Lauren calls it, "Niners Day." We made snacky foods to eat all afternoon in place of lunch and dinner, while Daddy enjoyed the 49er game. My job was the food (of course) so we had onion dip with chips & veggies (a Gary favorite), this fruit dip with peaches and apples (which was so tasty, but more like dessert!), this Garlic Artichoke Dip with bread and chips, and some Chicken Bacon Pizza Rolls to top it all off. Lauren's job was mainly cheerleading, and Jon's job was to take a nap and eat chips. :) Unfortunately, the 49ers didn't cooperate with our party and were trounced by the Seahawks. But we had fun nonetheless.

Speaking of football, here's a great reminder of how adorable Lauren was at 2-years-old.

Sorry for the loss Gary. Boo. But those chicken, bacon, pizza rolls look delicious. Thanks for that one Carolyn. I'm totally making that next.
