Jon's speech therapy appointment was cancelled this morning, which meant we were left with a completely open day: no where to rush to, no one to visit, nothing pressing to do. Just a beautifully normal day with my kiddos. We decided to spend the morning with Play-doh and it was so much fun. Two hours of squishing, creating, and laughing. I love it when a mommy idea works out this well!
Both kids received Play-doh kits at Christmas: Lauren got one to make mini cakes, and Jon got a puppy that "grows" hair and a tongue. He thought it was hilarious, so we did it over and over again.
Jon's new word for the day: squish! Or, as he likes to say it, "SKA-WISH!"
I even got in on the fun by making a "double peppy pizza." (Any Boz fans out there?)
A very good Friday, indeed. Thanks be to God! :)
