Our spring break week hasn't felt that different from any other week. Both Lauren and I have been off of school/work, which has it's pluses and minuses. Lauren had two weeks off, and was ready to go back to her beloved teacher and friends after the first week. (Summer vacation is going to be tough for her!) I enjoyed the break from grading papers, but I'm ready to get back to teaching--which is like a vacation compared to being a stay-at-home mom! :)
Spring has definitely sprung in our backyard, and in spite of the cold wind we've been having, we did get outside to enjoy it this week. Our lemon tree has gone absolutely crazy with fruit this year:
And our rose bushes are about to go crazy with blooms:
My favorite tree/bush is also in full bloom. I don't know what it is, but it looks like a really tall (maybe 10+ feet?) hydrangea bush with small buds on it. Anyone know?
My kids are also growing like crazy, as evidenced by the fact that their pants no longer fit.
And I definitely had to get a picture of this beautiful girl, who now has two loose teeth. This precious smile is about to change and I'm not sure I'm ready for that.
