The other day, Jon got out the camera, handed it to me, and said, "Peech-uh." (His way of saying picture.) Then he backed up against the wall and started smiling. Here are some results of his requested photo shoot.
This morning I was in Lauren's room, helping her with her latest asthma attack (which is another--frustrating--story) and I heard Jon call from the family room, "Mommee!" It may not seem like a big deal to you, but it is a huge deal when my son's primary form of getting my attention for the last 2-and-a-half years has been to scream, cry, hit, bite, kick, or throw something. I'll take "Mommy!" any day. Bring on the words, Jon Henry. We are so ready.
