Surprise!

We made a surprise visit to Roseville this past weekend to celebrate Gary's dad's retirement. Here's the fam at the restaurant:

And here is a picture to show that Lauren was there, too, and that we didn't leave her in the car or anything:

She did okay during the weekend away. She was good for about four of the five hours of driving each way, and she seemed pretty unsettled the entire time--a lot more crying than usual. I think she enjoys being at home best because she likes the consistency. But today she was all smiles again!
