Happy Days Are Here Again

Lauren is improving so much every day. When we arrived at the hospital on Wednesday, the respiratory therapist told us we would probably be there for three days, which means we would have been checking out today. Instead, we were able to spend some time at the beach with our beautiful baby this morning. Praise the Lord! We had such a great time, doing something fun in contrast to the yucky week it has been. And Lauren just loved the beach this time around. She played in the sand and even splashed in the water. (She was probably thinking, "This is so much better than that hospital!") It looks like we may have a beach bunny after all!

Thanks so much to all of you for your prayers, phone calls, and e-mails. This week was so difficult, but it was reassuring to know we had all of you supporting us. Please continue to pray that Lauren makes a full recovery soon, and that we get to enjoy some healthy time for a while. More "happy pictures" are up at Lauren's photos--enjoy!
