An All-American Fourth
It ended up being just the three of us for most of our 4th of July celebration, and we enjoyed our patriotic day. We started out by seeing a parade with lots of small-town charm, just the way it should be. :) We also enjoyed the sand castle contest and eating tons of kettle corn.

We ended the day with a tasty barbecue at home, and then joined some friends in Cayucos to view the fireworks from their house. (Thanks, Garett and Amy!) Lauren liked the fireworks, although she was over it after a few minutes. Fairly low-key, but the perfect way to spend an American holiday!
