Conversation with Lauren

Last night at about 5:45pm...

Lauren: "Can I have a snack?"
Mommy: "No, sweetie, we're going to have dinner soon."
L: "But I'm hungry."
M: "We will eat as soon as Daddy gets home."
L: "God can make Daddy come home."
M: "You're right. Maybe we should pray for that."
L: "Okay!"
M: "God, please make Daddy come home soon. Amen."
L: "Amen."
M: "Okay, we will see how God decides to answer that prayer."
L: "He said yes."

And Lauren was right. Daddy came home about 5 minutes later. :)
