The Graduate

Lauren graduated from preschool on June 18th. Her school had a cute ceremony, where the graduating class did some songs, recited a poem and some bible verses, and each received a certificate. The biggest surprise for us was when they asked each graduate what they wanted to be when they grow up. Lauren's response: "A doctor." That was certainly news to us! However, she has already changed her mind and now wants to design clothes for Barbie dolls (in spite of the fact that she does not yet own a Barbie doll). I guess we'll give her a few more years to make a final decision.

Jonathan did not cooperate at all, squirming and whining the whole time until Grandpa kindly took him outside. Most of my pictures ended up pretty blurry (thanks to Jon, the low lighting, and the distance) but another mom took this one of Lauren doing one of the songs.
