This fall, Jonathan will be starting a new preschool class. It is at Lauren's school, which means it will be great to have both kids at the same school and to drop them off together. And most importantly it will provide the extra help that Jon still needs with language and development. But it also means that we had to say goodbye to the amazing preschool that Jon has been a part of for the last year. It's through the childcare center at my work, and it was wonderful to have him close by. The teachers are amazing, the facility is wonderful (with a huge outdoor play area that Jonathan loved), and we are so grateful that we had the chance to be a part of it for a year. I took a few pictures yesterday, on Jon's last day. I simply asked him where he wanted his picture taken, and he chose each of these spots inside and out of his classroom.
{Apparently this little chicken toy was a favorite!}
{This is a little loft area with a beanbag chair. Jon loved to sit up there and "read."}
All of the staff that work there are amazing and show such love for the kids. Before he left each day, Jon would make sure he gave every teacher a hug. This was one of Jon's teachers, Shelley:
