In the (almost) 12 years we've been married, Gary and I have been blessed to be a part of three different, amazing small groups (or bible studies, or life groups, or whatever they're called these days!). It started with the Knights and the Wisners, at a time when none of us had children (and now there are 7 kids total among our 3 families!). After they each moved away, we formed a new group with the Stapps, the Petersons, and the Lambs. Then babies were born, we moved to SLO, and we were once again searching for a new group.
About a year and a half ago, some friends from church started a new bible study and we have been so thankful to be a part of it. There are 8 of us total that meet together on Wednesday nights to share about life, faith, and the work that God is doing. I have come to know and love this group, as they truly embody what the bible asks of us in living in community with one another.
We got together last Saturday for a barbecue, mostly to just enjoy being together and also to celebrate two birthdays in the group. Thank you, God, for providing this amazing group of people to share life with!
